Q121 and Q180 hit the DD boxes. a little later, they meet in the yard. After new crews climb aboard, both trains head out. I can only imagine
the mess before the construction of the bypass. While Q682 sneaks in and heads out for Birmingham, Q685 is finally
on the move with a new crew. It heads for the south end, and picks some
cars up. The paint job of this Conrail GP40-2 is in excellent
shape, almost looks new. This CSX veteran from the L&N does not look as good.
